Easy Steps to Get Your CRMA™ Certification
1. Registering for the CRMA™ Certification Program
Get certified through our online registration, pay the registration fee of $699, once approved you will then have access to the education materials and instructions on how to proceed.
2. Complete the Education Requirement
You need to complete the education requirements set by CRMA™ Education Board, which includes reviewing the education materials provided.
3. Pass the CRMA™ Certification Examination
The exam is given at an online testing service. You must have a passing score of 70% or better in order to receive your CRMA™ Certificate.
4. Adhere to the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Pass Background Check
You must disclose past or pending litigation or agency proceedings and agree to abide by CRMA™ Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. Any required licensing will also be verified.
5. Receive Authorization to Use the CRMA™/CERTIFIED REVERSE MORTGAGE ADVISOR™ Trademark.
After receiving your CRMA™ designation, you will be entitled to the use of the CRMA™, Certified Reverse Mortgage Advisor™, and the CRMA™ logo. You will also receive your certificate of completion to display in your office, as well as access to CRMA™ marketing and sales materials.
6. Certification Term, and Renewal.
Your certification is good for one year, with re-certification possible.
